I remember so many happy times spent with Leanne and her family during my teenage years. Sleepovers, camping in the garden, watching Prisoner Cell Block H, fall outs, desperately trying to get out of our paper round and general all round mischief. I can picture Gill in the immaculate kitchen, cooking and looking after everyone and constantly trying to hurry Leanne up.

On one occasion Leanne and I were out somewhere we shouldn't have been and Gill happened to see us, we were both dragged out and I was promptly returned home. Needless to say, both mums were not overly impressed!

I remember Gill catching the bus to work everyday, and can see her now almost running up the road. She worked so hard in every aspect raising her family and being a wonderful mum.
